We have photographed hundreds of weddings, and have learned a lot along the way, but the most important thing we’ve learned is this:
The best photos happen when you’re fully present, and not trying to control every second of the day. It is so important to stay grounded on your wedding day and trust that everything will fall into place

Don’t Worry About Your Timeline
This statement may be shocking to some, but the photography timeline is truly not as important as you think. They are helpful as a guideline of course, but things happen. We build plenty of flexibility into the day so you don’t need to be staring at a schedule every hour.
We’ve seen it all. Hair and makeup ran late, a groomsmen forgot his shirt, the bride left her shoes at the hotel. We will adapt. The goal isn’t to stay on time all day, it’s making sure you feel good and that your day unfolds naturally.

Getting the Most From Your Photographer
- Trust the Process. You hired your photographer not only for their talent, but for their experience and ability to capture your wedding day as it is. Trust that we’ll find the best light, guide you gently when needed, and step back when it’s time for quiet moments. Be yourself, and we’ll take care of the rest.
- Let Real Moments Happen. The photos you’ll cherish the most aren’t usually posed. They’re the in between moments that happen when you’re fully present. The laughs, happy tears, hugs, and glances. We are constantly watching for these moments, you just have to let them happen.
- Share What Matters Most. Is a first look with your dad important to you? Do you want lots of candids of your guests? A focus on details? We don’t need a shot list. In fact, shot lists can make it difficult for us to capture authentic moments. However, it is important for us to know what you’re most excited to see in your photos.

Be Present
You’ve spent months planning this day, and now, the best thing you can do for yourself is to release the reins and be in the moment. It truly goes by so fast. We’ll be there not just taking photos, but telling the story as it is. We promise it will be beautiful!
